Lean Body Shake, Labrada

November 2nd, 2009

If you’re like me you don’t have a ton of time to worry about eating properly throughout the day. But it’s not just the time factor that plays into trying to look good. I just love to eat food that tastes great and I don’t really want to give it up. Anyway, one night my wife and I were sitting on the couch and I was busy eating a huge bowl of ice cream just like I do every night. We happened to be watching one of those weight loss shows and I was busy making fun of them in between huge bites. My wife looked at me and said “You’re not too far from making yourself eligible for one of those shows.”

Lean Body, Labrada

November 1st, 2009

I’ve always been the fat kid growing up. At the age of 11 I clocked in at 187 pounds. My parents are obese and I guess it is genetic. Of course I can’t blame it all on genetics. My main staples growing up had been McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. All throughout my school years I was tortured by unrelenting kids who would purposefully try and tear me down because of my weight. This made the problem even worse. I was eating because I was unhappy and at the same time unhappy because I was eating. I was caught in this vicious cycle of death that at its worst had me weighing in at 387 pounds at the age of 26.

Lean Dessert Protein, BSN

October 31st, 2009

It’s my junior year in college and as a collegiate basketball player I’ve learned that to be at my best I need to work on my game but I also need to make sure my nutrition is on point too. Unfortunately I had to learn that the hard way during my sophomore season. I remember it like it was yesterday. The game was tied and I was guarding the other team’s best player. He was a 6 foot 5 shooting guard who could drive and shoot. He was an all-conference selection and many people think he might have a chance to play pro ball.

Oh Yeah Bar, ISS

October 30th, 2009

I’m a single mom with three kids and it’s hard staying on top of their health let alone mine. I’ve got a friend Janice who is this super mom type and one day she introduced me to her secret to staying healthy. Her secret, as she calls it, is one of the best protein bars on the market called the Oh Yeah Bar by ISS.

Oh Yeah Shake, ISS

October 29th, 2009

You know it’s hard finding good meal replacement shakes out there. Most of them are geared towards all of the meat head types that live at the gym. I’m a 5 foot 5 female college student and I’m not looking to get huge and ripped I’m just wanting to increase my energy and stay lean. Most of the other meal replacement shakes I’ve tried just hurt my stomach and leave me feeling bloated. I just don’t need to consume 45 grams of protein and 400 calories at one time like the gym rats do down at the student recreation center.

Oh Yeah Wafers, ISS

October 28th, 2009

At the company I work at we’ve decided to enter into the weight loss challenge as an entire department. When you work in accounting as I do there’s not a lot of action and you spend the entire day pouring over spreadsheets and financial statements at your desk. For me, and most of my colleagues, this type of work is mentally rewarding and challenging but physically it has lead to a disaster.

Power Crunch, Bionutritional

October 27th, 2009

As a personal trainer I’ve seen it all when it comes to nutritional supplements that claim to be the best. I’m from the school of thought that talk is cheap and results are the way that any product or service should be evaluated. People are always asking me what supplements I use and what ones I recommend. Ever since I became a personal trainer I’ve been on a quest to find a good tasting protein bar that also packed some nutritional punch.

Pure Pro Shake, ABB

October 26th, 2009

The Pure Pro Shake by ABB will help you elevate your physique to the next level just like it did mine. In 1992 I was a fresh rookie out of the Fire Academy and I thought I was invincible. I was in world class shape and nobody but nobody could beat me in a physical challenge. I could bench more than anybody down at the station. I was faster, had more endurance, and could lap people up and down the stairs all day long.

Pure Pro Drink, ABB

October 25th, 2009

If you’re like me you’re probably sick and tired of all of the shake based protein drinks out there. There are only a few out there that taste any good and let’s face it; it’s just not feasible to have a blender with you all the time. Anyway, I’m currently training for my first strong man competition and I need to gain all the strength, which means consuming a ton of protein.

Rockin Roll Bar, Labrada

October 24th, 2009

As a mother and small business owner I don’t have a lot of time to make sure I get the proper nutrition. But just because I run a PR firm and have three kids doesn’t mean it’s impossible to look and feel great. Between taking care of my kids and making sure my clients are happy I’m a very busy woman who has little time for herself. After the birth of my third child Hunter I felt like my body was flabby, tired and worthless. I didn’t have energy and I wasn’t taking good care of myself.
