The first tub I bought of American Whey protein was the flavor Double Dutch Chocolate Supreme. (Sounds amazing, even for a protein powder, right?) Allow me to say… Do not let the appearance or packaging of this product fool you. It may look basic and plain, but what’s inside is far from it. The first thing I noticed after opening the tub, as I’ve opened quite a few tubs of protein in my life being the gym junkie that I am, is that there were hardly any clumps whatsoever. It actually stayed like this for as long as it stayed in my cupboard, too. This is why I wasn’t surprised that it mixed easily in a glass with water or milk, even if I was just using a spoon to mix. Taste is smooth and it’s overall very light on the stomach, making it easy to workout immediately after drinking. Can’t wait to go out and buy my 10lb tub!
